L’Atelier Cote d’Or La Tache
L’Atelier Cote d’Or La Tache
Another 10th anniversary goodie, Napa Cigars is proud to offer the limited-edition L'Atelier Côte d'Or La Tâche '18. This Corona Gorda features a coveted Ecuadorian Sancti Spiritus wrapper, the same used in the L'Atelier Selection Spéciale. Beneath the wrapper lies a Nicaraguan binder and filler blend, including the rare and prized pelo de oro tobacco.
Pelo de oro, which translates to "golden hair" in Spanish, is known for its exceptional quality but low yield. In fact, its susceptibility to mold led to a ban in Cuba.
With only 1,000 boxes of 10 produced (a total of 10,000 cigars), Napa Cigars secured a significant allocation for this celebratory year.
The La Tâche '18 is crafted at the esteemed My Father Cigars S.A. factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. Its name pays homage to the Côte d'Or region in France, famous for Pinot Noir grapes.
